Our History

Sizelove’s solid foundation extends beyond its extraordinary concrete construction.  Established in 1985 by Jim Sizelove and later joined by his son Mike then Mitch, the family-owned and operated business steadily grew,  employing now over 300 experienced  employees. Recognizing the need for a dependable full-service turnkey construction company, Jim has provided an opportunity for clients to have a single point of contact for all things related to concrete.  This is why Sizelove is known as one of the most experienced and well respected concrete construction services in the DFW metroplex.

With 35 years of commercial construction experience, Sizelove has constructed hundreds of successful complex projects such as churches, schools, hospitals and municipal buildings. Mike Sizelove

As the president, Mike analyzes and makes pertinent decisions that assure his teams execute on-time quality concrete projects.  

Over 35 years ago, Mike Sizelove co-founded Sizelove Construction after graduating with a Business degree from the University of North Texas.  Mike’s tenure in the business after over 30 years of field experience provides Sizelove a firm foundation for continued growth. 

Mike enjoys working alongside a reliable and hardworking team.  He is a hands-on leader and is proud of how everyone works together using their talents and time to make Sizelove one of the most respected and recognized concrete construction companies in the DFW metroplex.  

Outside of work, Mike loves spending time with family, friends, and water surfing. 

Vice President

Mitchell Sizelove

With eighteen years of experience as the Vice President of Sizelove Construction, Mitchell’s leadership and day-to-day responsibilities are essential to the overall direction of the Sizelove team.  Serving as an Army Artillery officer, Executive officer, and Battalion Maintenance officer has provided skills that help Mitchell effectively oversee projects and solve complicated problems.  

Earning a Structural Engineering degree from West Point, Mitchell understands the complexity of designs and the importance of a sound structure, which is one reason he loves working for a company known as the go-to contractor for difficult and demanding projects.

During his time off, You can find Mitchell at the lake with family, friends, or mountain biking. 

Treasurer/Vice President - Finance

Troy Cole

Troy brings over 15 years of construction accounting experience in the role of Treasurer/Vice President – Finance.  Working for a general contractor, supplier, and now subcontractor; He has acquired insurmountable knowledge that is beneficial to Sizelove’s capital structure.  As the numbers man, he serves the Sizelove leadership team by formulating sound financial strategies and developing business plans that support organizational goals.  

Troy is proud of Sizelove’s tenacious adherence to the company’s core values.  He  enjoys an independent yet accountable work environment, which provides an opportunity for each team member to grow, creating an outstanding construction team.    

When away from work, Troy enjoys outdoor activities, a competitive game of ping-pong with his kids, and spending time with his family.

Vice President - Operations

Hayden Mitchell

In his role as Vice President – Operations, Hayden diligently implements and upholds the company’s Core Values while ensuring that Sizelove’s services consistently exceed their client’s expectations. 

He has served in many leadership roles throughout his career in the concrete construction industry.   Starting his career as a project engineer, he eventually became a superintendent for a heavy civil construction company, which gave him great hands-on experience in operations. Hayden later became a Project Manager and General Superintendent before taking on his current leadership role as Directors of Operation at Sizelove.  With a Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management and a Minor in Business Administration, Hayden offers a wealth of knowledge and experience as Director of the Sizelove field team. 

Vice President - Project Management/Business Development

Travis Mouser

As the Vice President – Project Management/Business Development, Travis is the glue that keeps projects together.   His role includes targeted preconstruction planning, budget development and management, schedule oversight, and negotiating subcontracts.   His day-to-day communication with the project team ensures every job runs smoothly and on schedule.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management, Travis has over 10 years of concrete construction experience.  His time in the ready-mix sector helped him understand the DFW construction market. One of the highlights of his career was working as an estimator for a large scale high-rise concrete contractor, where he transitioned into project management.  He believes that teamwork is the heartbeat of a successful business and loves working for a company that takes pride in their work. 

Outside of Sizelove, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife, their seven-month-old son, and two dogs.  He also enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time at the family ranch.
